Where are you located?
We currently are a company without a home. You can reach us at P.O. Box 61964, Los Angeles, CA 90064.

What time should I arrive at the theatre?
Generally speaking, it is best to arrive at the theatre roughly 15-30 minutes before your performance.

Does the theatre have wheelchair access?
Yes.

Can my child/baby attend the theatre?/Is the show appropriate for children?
It is Chromolume Theatre's policy that no babies in arms may be allowed to attend. Further, we do not permit children under the age of four (4) to attend. This is to ensure that all customers enjoy the show. Young children are admitted but are not encouraged to attend unless the parent is confident the child will not distract other members of the audience. Everyone must have a valid ticket and occupy a seat. Accompanying adults will be asked to remove any noisy children. Generally, Chromolume Theatre produced productions are appropriate for school age children, while visiting productions can vary in appropriateness. Regardless, you should probably check with the Box Office when you order your tickets whether the production you are attending is appropriate for your child.

Are your actors professional?
In most cases, yes. Most, if not all, of the actors who perform in our shows are members of Actors Equity Association, Screen Actors Guild and/or American Federation of Television and Radio Artists.

Do your musicals have live musicians or taped accompaniment?
All of Chromolume Theatre's produced musicals include a single piano, or a small orchestra, usually five pieces. We do not use taped accompaniment at any of our performances. Any visiting production may use taped accompaniment.

Whom do I contact to usher for one of your performances?
If you wish to usher for one of our performances, contact our House Manager.

How can I purchase tickets for one of your productions?
There are three ways to purchase tickets for Chromolume Theatre produced performances (please note that visiting productions' methods may vary):

• Purchase them in person at the Box Office
• Purchase them over the telephone by calling (323) 510-1651 x202

Where do I pick up my tickets?
You can pick them up at the Box Office on the date of your performance.

Where is the Box Office located?
The Box Office is located immediately as you enter the theatre, to your right. The Box Office is open one hour prior to performance.

When are auditions for your performances?
Audition dates and times vary depending on the production. You can browse our Audition Page to check out when an upcoming audition is occurring and what to prepare for said audition.

Do you do only do musicals?
Chromolume Theatre's production productions are not only musicals. Occasionally, we will produce a play or a play with music. Visiting productions can vary anywhere between performance art to fully staged musicals.

Nathan Moore, Gene Saturday Night

Saturday Night marks Nathan's debut in the LA theatre world. A recent graduate of Elon College, Nathan is represented by Bicoastal Talent Agency. He is pleased to be working with such a talented group of people both behind the scenes and on stage. Nathan would like to thank his family back in Florida, his friends, and the Lord God for the many blessings in his life.

Jennifer Bangs, Helen Saturday Night

Jennifer is thrilled to be working with such a terrific cast and crew! Favorite roles include: Hodel (Fiddler On The Roof); Lucy (You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown); Constance (The Three Musketeers); and an original one-woman show Well. A graduate of NYU, she would like to dedicate this performance to Sylvester, her best friend of 18 years.

Adam LeBow, Hank Saturday Night

Training: Yale, Williamston Theatre Festival, NYC's T. Schreiber Studio and LA's David Kagen School of Film Acting. Screen work includes independent films, pilots, daytime drama, and commercials. His most recent LA stage appearance was in the hit comedy Play Things at the Hudson Theatre, which he also produced.

Gwen Copeland, Celeste Saturday Night

Gwen comes from The Great Northwest and is happy to be working with a fastanstic crew and cast! Gwen was last seen in a staged reading of Sunday Dinner, playing the soon to be daughter-in-law of Marcia Wallace (Bob Newhart Show). This is her second time working at the Stella Adler Stages, where she appeared in a production of Medea during the fall of 2002.

Kevin Henry, Artie Saturday Night

Kevin recently appeared in George M! at Fullerton CLO and My Fair Lady at Saddleback CLO. His original songs appear on TV shows, including Friends, and he regularly performs live with his band. His album, East on Sunset, won him an LA Music Award and is available at www.KevinHenry.com.

Thomas Colby, Ray Saturday Night

Thomas is very excited to have you read this. Thomas has worked in many Theatres in Chicago including, The Royal George, Bailiwick, Circle, Stage Left, Torso, Apple Tree, BTE, CDW, ITC and the Chicago Playwright Center. A recent transplant to LA, Thomas worked at the Jewel Box, the Powerhouse and Knightsbridge Theatres. Other highlights include Paul in Dressing Room Divas (Chicago and Off-Broadway casts), being, being "the Blob" in the musical version with the same title at Live Bait and having the rare opportunity to play the role of Lucien P. Smith in The Boys Next Door at the Avenue Theatre. You can see Thomas in the film festival winning Experimental Me.

Christopher Chen, Ted Saturday Night

Chris comes to L.A. from Cleveland via Brooklyn (Park Slope). He toured with the national/international company of Guys and Dolls. Favorite roles include Jigger (Carousel), Smudge (Forever Plaid), Paul (A Chorus Line) and Harry Beaton (Brigadoon). James Daly, Dino Saturday Night

James Daly is happy to be appearing in his first production with Chromolume Theatre Company. James's favorite former roles include Billy Lawlor (42nd Street), Sal (Victor, Victoria), The Lion (The Wizard of Oz) and Danny (Baby). James would like to thank his family and friends for all their support and especially all of their money to pay his rent.

Gabriella Sacci, Mildred Saturday Night

Gabriella is a third generation performer born and raised in New York City. Her current film credits include, 13 Going on 30, Sticks and Inches and Seconds. She has also appeared recently on Sex and the City, Whoopi, Days of Our Lives and in the Off-Broadway hit, Who Killed Woody Allen. Currently, Gabriella is the co-host of a brilliant pilot called Simply Fun. She would like to thank Chromolume Theatre Company for this incredible opportunity and the cast and crew for this wonderful experience.

Alissa-Nicole Koblentz, Florence/Dakota Doran Saturday Night

Alissa-Nicole was last seen as the Opera Diva in Phantom at Performance Riverside. Other favorite roles include; Fraulein Kost (Cabaret Candlelight Pavilion); 6th Exhibit, Side Show (Colony Theatre), Sister Berthe (Sound of Music Saddleback CLO), Alma Hix (Music Man Candlelight Pavilion). She holds a BFA from the Boston Conservatory. Love to Tom and family.

James McMurray, Featured Vocalist/Clune Saturday Night

James is proud to be involved with the Los Angeles premiere of Saturday Night. He thanks: Jon Engstrom, Chromolume Theatre Company, Will Willoughby and Stephen Sondheim, whose music has given him such joy. James is co-artistic director of The Rose Alley Theater in Venice where he just finished a sold out run of Michaelangelo's Models, which he co-produced and directed. He co-hosts "The Insider's Garden" on HGTV.

James J. Stevens, Pinhead Saturday Night

Jim hails from the core of the Big Apple (New Jersey). He is so grateful to have been chosen to work with such a talented cast and director. He is studying hard at the Beverly Hills Playhouse and would love to thank his teachers for their patience. Also, thanks to Mom and Dad.

Richard Cline Cunningham, Mr. Fisher/Lieutenant Saturday Night

This is RCC's second Sondheim musical. In film, RCC's worked with Terry Rossio (award-winning writer of Pirates of the Caribbean, Shrek, The Mask of Zorro) and Stephen Langford (Malcolm and Eddie, Family Matters). On TV, you've seen RCC on the History Channel, The Travel Channel and Showtime.

Jeffrey Wolf, Mr. Fletcher/Attendant Saturday Night

Jeff has not had this much fun on stage since the last time he worked on stage! He has had the pleasure of playing some of the best characters written for the stage. Jon Engstrom, Director/Choreographer Saturday Night

Jon Engstrom has worked throughout the United States and overseas. His production of 42nd Street in Germany was voted by the International Press as one of the two most popular musicals in Europe. He directed and choreographed the first staged production of a new musical version of Little Women. Other productions that Jon has directed and choreographed for major venues include: West Side Story, Evita, Fiddler on the Roof, Singin' in the Rain, Meet Me in St. Louis, Mame, Guys and Dolls, The Will Rogers Follies, Hello Dolly, My Fair Lady, No, No, Nanette, Into the Woods, Anything Goes, Oliver, Oklahoma, Sweet Charity and Can-Can . Jon has also choreographed productions of Bye, Bye, Birdie, Angry Housewives and The Grass Harp. Jon's efforts have been acknowledged by numerous awards including: 8 Drama-Logue Awards and 2 Robby Awards. Jon's career started with a Ford Foundation Scholarship. He went on to become a soloist with San Francisco Ballet. He was an original member of Eliot Feld's company and also guest artist with Lar Lubovitch before moving on to "The Great White Way" where he was a featured dancer in five Broadway musicals: No, No, Nanette, The Pajama Game, Very Good Eddie, Whoopie! and 42nd Street and two National Tours: Chicago and Seesaw. Jon has been fortunate to work with such notable director/choreographers as: Gower Champion, Bob Fosse, Michael Bennett, Donald Saddler, Alan Johnson & Danny Daniels.

Gary Gray, Musical Director Saturday Night

Gary Gray is active as an accompanist, musical director and occasional conductor. Mr. Gray holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Performance from the University of Pacific and a Master of Music degree in Accompanying from the University of Southern California. He is on the staff of the Music Department at Santa Monica College. Aside from his academic pursuits, Mr. Gray frequently busies himself in musical theatre, having accompanied or musically directed over 50 productions. As musical director, he received a Drama-Logue Award for Best Musical direction for The Fantasticks, which he also co-produced. He has also musically directed several productions for the SMC Theatre Arts Department and has taught the SMC Musical Theatre Workshop. During April, 1997, he traveled with SMC's production of Once On This Island to the American College Theater Festival at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C. Mr. Gray has also served as conductor for the Santa Monica College Opera Theatre productions of The Marriage of Figaro and Die Fledermaus. In his "spare" time, Mr. Gray also programs the internet musical theatre radio station TheatricallyChallenged.

Julie Kenyon, Assistant Choreographer Saturday Night

Julie is thrilled to once again be working with Jon, after acting as Dance Captain for his recent production of Annie Get Your Gun in San Diego. In addition to working as Dance Captain on shows such as Music Man, Bye, Bye Birdie, and Pippin, Julie has performed in shows on both coasts and in Europe. Favorite credits include Anything Goes starring Rachel York and Sally Struthers (Reprise!), Grease (European tour, as both Marty and Patty), The Mikado and Turnadot (NYC Opera), and Anything Goes starring Chita Rivera (Paper Mill Playhouse). Julie recently worked as choreographer for the upcoming film Little Black Book, starring Brittany Murphy and Holly Hunter, and can be heard as the voice of Cindy on the MTV cartoon Daria. Thanks to family and friends, and to Jon for this amazing experience!

Vali Tirsoaga, Scenic Design Saturday Night

Originally from Romania, Vali rceived a B.F.A. in Design for the Theatre from Concordia University of Montreal, and an M.F.A. degree in set design for stage, film and television from the University of Florida. His design credits include: You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown, The Rose Tattoo, The Wake of Jamie Foster, Joe Turner's Come and Gone, Bing, Bang, Boom. He has also designed costumes for Bing, Bang, Boom, Talking With..., The Problem and Mrs. California. In parallel with designing, Vali has worked as a College Assistant Professor teaching set design, costume design, and stagecraft classes. Currently, Vali is designing sets for Annie Get Your Gun for Sierra Repertory Theatre.

Erin Welty, Costume Design Saturday Night

Erin began her costuming career at a young age; in grade school she would rather pick the clothes for the plays than sing in them, and it has taken off from there. As a recent graduate from California State, Fullerton, Erin has expanded her design experience to include scenery and lighting design as well. Costume design credits include dance concerts, The Wiz, Fame, Bye, Bye Birdie, and Scarpin. Erin makes her Hollywood debut with this production.

Joe Spangler, Light Design Saturday Night

A native of the Rocky Mountains with a B.A. in Theatre Arts from Montana State University, Bozeman, Joe has designed most recently for The Laramie Project and Oliver among many others. This summer will mark his second appearance at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival as a designer and performer.

Ron Wyand, Sound Design Saturday Night

Ron's sound designs can be heard throughout Southern California. His recent designs include: Lee Miller, The Angel and the Fiend for the J. Paul Getty Museum; Newport Theater Arts Center's production of Camping with Tom and Henry; The Women at the Hudson Avenue Theater; Quilters and Cabaret for the Huntington Beach Playhouse; The Crumple Zone in Los Angeles and Seattle for Dad 'n' Pop Productions, The Price for A Noise Within; The Rose Tattoo at Long Beach Playhouse and Ernest In Love at the Fremont Center Theater. Ron has received numerous design awards including a Backstage West Garland Award for The Interact Theater's production of The Cherry Orchard. He is the resident Sound Designer at the Long Beach Playhouse, a member of the Production Staff at A Noise Within and is an Audio Engineer at the Torrance Cultural Arts Center's James Armstrong Theater.

Inga Agrest, Stage Manager Saturday Night

Inga graduated from the University of South Carolina with M. M. in Opera/ Theatre Directing in 2002. During her graduate studies she served as assistant director for the Studio Lirico production of La Indfidelta Fidele in Italy; and as assistant director and stage manager for Dido and Aeneas, Sour Angelica and Gianni Schicchi productions at USC. She has also directed the production of Boyarinya Vera Sheloga. Inga recently moved to Los Angeles and worked as a stage manager for the LA Jewish Theatre production of Eva Peron and the Fourth Reich. Saturday Night marks her second show with Chromolume Theatre Company.

Aracyn C. Etie, Assistant Stage Manager Saturday Night

After a successful three year run with Broadway's Cats, Aracyn traveled throughout London with a production of Chicago. Once back in the States, she joined the crew of such shows as Movin' Out, Swan Lake, Fiddler On The Roof and Rent, just to name a few. Deciding she wanted a change of pace, Aracyn made the coastal change and headed for Hollywood. Within weeks of her arrival, she landed her first major role as Julia Roberts' stunt double in the film Runaway Bride...Ahh..you were impressed there for a minute, right?! But, who am I kidding. I'm the kid from Vegas who found her love for theatre in high school. After taking part in college productions for years, I decided to move to LA to follow my dream. I'd like to say thank you to my family and friends for their supports and to Chromolume Theatre Company for this opportunity. Peace.
