Kyle Critelli, as the photographer, is quite magnetic in both voice and physicality.

Thanks to musical director extraordinaire Ricard Berent, who accompanies the cast on piano onstage, along with Xinqian Li on guitar, the Chromolume cast more than meets that challenge!
At the performance I attended, Rachel Williams stepped in for Rachel Wirtz as Francesca...but you never would have guessed that given her totally authentic performance in the pivotal role, realistically displaying the initial physical attraction between two characters who meet as strangers and fall hopelessly in love. Their every glance at each other, every touch of skin on skin was electric as if really seeing them together for the first time – which it really was.Shari Barrett, Culver City News
[Rachel] Wirtz has a sweet voice, and her renditions of “To Build a Home,” in which Francesca tells her backstory and hints at her loneliness, and “Look at Me,” the number that expresses the character’s feelings of being overlooked and misunderstood, are her strongest moments.
[Kyle] Critelli['s] delivery of Robert’s final song, “It All Fades Away” is shattering in its impact.
David Michael Trevino as a close neighbor and friend, along with Mary Zastrow as his nosy but caring wife, provide comic relief and give solid performances.Iris Mann, StageRaw
The entire production shows itself in its best within the intimate stage setting using minimal set dressing. That is what makes this particular stage piece appealing. It brings its less-is-more attitude that focuses upon the cast of players and what they can do that presents itself in this program.
James Esposito, who portrays Bud within this production, also performs the scenic design as well as the sound design that shows off his many talents in this program.
Richard Berent’s musical direction performing on the multi sounding keyboard that add an orchestra-esque tonal quality.
Richard Van Styke provides the stage direction that never lets the program down without any lulls within the "action" depicted.
This take on this musical as created through Chromolume Theatre is a stage program for those seeking an ideal “date night”-type production to view. It’s also for those that just desires to take part in a musical placed in a right sized theater space. Musicals do not have to be big or brassy to find its attention. And this show makes it fit right in!Rich Borowy, Accessibly Live Off-Line
I could not be more enraptured by The Bridges Of Madison County’s two charismatic stars [Rachel Wirtz and Kyle Critelli] or by the pair of heartbreakingly moving performances they deliver.
It’s nothing short of miraculous how music director Richard Berent has combined live keyboard accompaniment (joined by Xinqian Li on guitar) with prerecorded tracks to suggest Brown’s Tony-winning orchestrations of his Tony-winning score.
