Passion feels right at home in the intimate space at the Zephyr.
The movement of the actors and the choice costume design from Shon LeBlanc from the military outfits to the multiple dresses Mary DeLan, who plays Clara appeared to have a new stunning outfit every time her character went back on stage.
These actors did capture a lot of what makes this piece so challenging, persuasive and unique in the pantheon of musical love stories.
Exceptional performance from [Nora] Elkind in this show.
[Paul] Luoma's uneasiness that he felt from the awkward romantic predicament made the interaction played more real when side by side with Elkind's advances.
[Mary] DeLan, who plays Clara, sings the tunes with a bright and expressive tone that not only sounded good, but also made her moments stand out in contrast to the darker gloomier tunes in the show.
